our story.

one of us was too old and the other was just too candid to
work for someone else anymore, and thus hummingbird
ideas was created.

as a young boy crawford had always been intrigued by
the image of the tiny yellow bird painted on the powerful
locomotive that pulled the hummingbird passenger train
between new orleans & mobile. we thought it would be
a great name for our agency because we’re small and
what we do can be so powerful.

johnny agreed, mainly because he liked the idea of having
a company logo with the image of a train.
